Tuesday Tune Up 3rd March 2020

Howdy everyone!

Obviously this week I can’t ignore the rapidly important world news – Coronovirus and its effect on our social and economic systems. As there appears more and more breaking news on how each country is dealing with the spread it is important to mention that whilst we stay aware of updated health information, travel advice and protecting each other, that news and media can be a scary place. Panic can cause widespread alarm which in turn shovels extra pressure onto already stretched public services. With that in mind I am providing links to virus related stories which provide some hope for all of us out there.

  1. China pollution clears amid slowdown : NASA noted that the decline in air pollution levels coincided with restriction imposed on transportation and business activities, and as millions of people went into quarantine. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-51691967
  2. It is important to note that people who have had the virus in the majority – have mild cases and recover – but it’s nice to actually hear from someone who has done just that: https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-asia-51714162/how-i-recovered-from-coronavirus-and-isolation
  3. And finally something close to my heart not virus related – homelessness. A heartwarming story can be found here what a little love this boy is! https://www.bbc.com/news/video_and_audio/must_see/51679060/boy-s-tooth-fairy-money-helps-house-ilford-s-homeless

Stay happy and healthy!
