The Bramble Hunt at Forevermore Studios was an event hunt space whose aesthetic was based on the books of Brambly Hedge by Jill Barklem and Romany Wood by Beshlie.
The Bramble Hunt by Forevermore Studios was featured as a recommended Recently Added destination and also rotated for a full week on Firestorm Viewer log in page.
The primary focus was to build from the perspective of a mouse. There was some poetic license in the walkthrough – brambles as large as trees, birds as large as horses, rabbits somehow larger than everything! But that’s how some of my more whimsical work turns out.
I wanted to provide a low stakes hunt event as an alternative to the plethora of Adult rated Valentines Day events. As with all of my events it was to be rated G or PG – as soon as I saw ionic’s set of mice I knew they were perfect. Cute and slightly daft. Nothing too serious after all.

Stolen blackberries were each priced at the same low and expected hunt rate and in return you would be given one of 12 limited edition, (event duration only), art works. These art works are theme specific and have copy & modify permissions meaning that you have an infinite number of them and you can also change their shape, framing etc. There were also a couple of free gifts at the landing point and a list of digital asset credits.
Participating in the hunt or the OOAK market area was completely optional. The walkthrough flowed around all the stop points with chances to take photos and explore several hedgerow themed buildings including a log home, tree stump house, old boot and underground burrow. It was tempting to veer into hobbit style housing but I am keeping that for a future event!
For every event I usually produce a set of OOAK – one of a kind collectable art pieces. This time I chose a vague Valentines theme but I also made some totem animal ones that always prove popular like turtles and peacocks and so on. These pieces sell out fast but I have a couple of re-stocks for the event duration. OOAK carry a higher price tag because they are one virtual item available limited time. They are set to transfer permissions only meaning you can gift or re-sell.
